These are my current on going working notes on how to research and select a niche to focus on and to dominate it in time to come.

I have focused on this niche: Forum Marketing.

I am building a Keyword Hub around this niche and would be working on all my web contents and marketing within the range of keywords related to this Keyword Hub.

The ideal direction is to work from less competitive keywords to more competitive one.When the list is clear, I can ensure that all the keywords are used in the web content. The long tail keywords may be the earlier SEO optimised page to start production with.

With The List, the direction and planning would be more strategic and focused.

I started on the less competitive long tail keywords, and slowly moving up to work on the more competitive keywords. I have to avoid scattering my forces on disparate, accidental and unrelated keywords.
I desperately need power, I concentrate on the keywords within the same Keyword hub. Like the list below…
